John LaRose

John LaRose enters his Third season as an L&M Baseball Assistant Coach. LaRose was a successful player in his own right, earned Academic All-Big East senior year at Providence College where he graduated with a history education degree in 1991. He received his master’s degree in sports information from the University of Georgia in 1994. Prior playing at PC, he was an All-State selection at Shea High School in Pawtucket, RI. After his playing career, LaRose went on to serve as the Head Baseball Coach of Johnson and Wales University, a Division 3 school that competes in the GNAC, for 19 seasons. LaRose finished his coaching career at JWU with a 429-341-6 record. LaRose also spent time as an Assistant Coach of the Division 1 Army West Point Black Knights.
