Idris Liasu (Coach E) - Head Coach - Fall CPT/Summer L&M 17U

A 2006 graduate of Bethany College, Liasu earned his bachelor's degree in Physical Education while competing for the Swedes from 2003-2005.  He was awarded the Performance Baseball Award Scholarship, Dean's Scholarship and was a two-time KCAC All-Conference selection.  Before arriving at Bethany College, Liasu played at CCRI, where he captained his 2001 team and began his coaching career as a camp instructor.  After completing his playing career, he became an assistant coach at CCRI. In addition to his role at CCRI, he has served as an assistant coach at at the collegiate level at Siena College, the University of Rhode Island and Brown University.  Liasu has also served as an assistant coach for the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod League and was the head coach of the Rhode Island Tides AAU program, where he led the team to a silver medal finish at the Northeast Championships.  In addition to serving as the head coach for the Fall College Prospect Team and the Summer 17U team, Liasu also serves an an Associate Scout for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
